The AIC NHS Auction will take place from:
10am on Friday 21st August
5pm on Sunday 23rd August 2020
This unique piece of ceramic art has been created by Ashraf & Sue dispalying both of their distinct features.
Ashraf Hanna is a globally acclaimed ceramic artist with work in the permanent collections of several museums around the world, most recently the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. His wife Sue Hanna is also a well renowned ceramic artist having trained as a sculptor at St Martin’s College of Arts in London, originally working with wood and metal. Her journey with fired clay started in the late 1990s; a chance encounter with a South African potter proved instrumental in developing her interest in ceramics.
Art in Clay is very grateful of their support and every penny from the auction of this piece will go directly to the NHS Together.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all of AIC visitors, for your support with the online show and in helping to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.
