Stoke-on-Trent is still the centre of our ceramic universe – Talk/Demo

Still producing the finest clays, colour, kilns and related ceramic components. Anything ceramic related is available within a six mile radius in our city. This is why I decided to move here over 40 years ago and set up my studio in this magical place. The history and heritage of ceramic production still litter this city. My work responds to this special past as I’ve been digging shards and ceramic detritus from this land and incorporating it within my work. My practice has become a celebration of the past – women and men have forged our creativity and formed our ceramic heritage and history.
