I work mostly in sculptural clay. I like the clay itself and love to glaze my work with just a little bit of visibility to the clay. In that way both glaze and clay are talking together and they blend in beautifully with each other.
I am drawn to the beauty of making my work look both fragile and strong at the same time, both feminine and masculine and I like to find that harmony in the contradictions involved.
