I use a variety of techniques to create intimately sized vessels of delicate simplicity (along with framed undulating ceramic sheets) – each piece is then intricately hand-painted using a combination of underglazes and engobes; My artwork is inspired by a hybrid of the wild North Pennine moorland surroundings in which I live and work, along with influences derived from my time spent living out in the Far East.
