Expansive bowls and tall standing forms thrown on the wheel using porcelain and stoneware, decorated with rich textural detail inspired by Highland mountain ranges and seascapes. Carved crevices, textured and worn surfaces add visual and tactile interest to the pots creating a feeling of perfection in the imperfect. Barnacle shell vessels are bored through with masses of ridged holes. New work features crazing and crackling that replicates geological formations on rocks and mountains.
