Alice Funge
My inspiration comes from everyday marks created during our daily routines, particularly in cooking and baking. I replicate these marks in clay and coloured slip, producing a permanent feature from a temporary, mundane activity. Ever since I had the idea to produce a range of bakeware I wanted to add something special to it – my late grandma’s own handwritten recipes seemed the perfect idea, adding a personal touch to an already unique, handmade collection.
