Studies of the first photographs of bodies in motion in 1870 and the abstract expression of movement on canvas by the Colour Field Group in the 1960’s combine with the psychology of the perception of movement to bring dynamism and sense of life to clay thrown on the wheel.
I make mostly practical pots in stoneware with excellent functionality incorporating a sense of life and humour to lighten the spirit and enhance every day.
